Here, I will share with you my portrait process as well as what you should expect during the session. Let's dive in!

What to Expect

Booking your session

After contacting me and choosing your date and portrait collection I will send you an invoice along with the contract. I require a $100 deposit to be made at the time of signing the contract with the remaining balance due one day before the scheduled session.

Questionnaire

To get to know you better and to know how to approach you to make you the most comfortable I will send you a short questionnaire asking questions regarding the names of people participating in the session, your favorite type of jokes, favorite memories together, etc.

Choosing location

Under the tab in the menu, Client Resources, you might find a page called "Portrait Locations". There you will find my favorite spots in the area that I deem the most photogenic and picture worthy. If you have, though, in mind some other location, don't hesitate! Let me know and I will see if we can arrange our session there.

The weather

I will be watching the weather like a hawk. To ensure our session runs smoothy and we are not surprised by any heavy rain I will make sure that the weather forecast and sunset times are exactly how we want them. If it happens that we need to reschedule, don't worry. We can reschedule due to weather at no additional cost.

Helpful Resources

Besides "Helpful Resources" I am working on additional page called "Colors and Accessories" that will go over your clothes and any other design choices you might have.

The day of

On the day of the session I will send you a text message reminding you of the session and reassuring you that I am ready to go! I will also update you on the weather. I will just ask you to come about 15 minutes earlier so that we can dive in a little more in detail about how I like to photograph and how I would like you to pose and act for me in front of the camera. Your comfort and confidence are of utter importance to me. So please, don't be late!

Digital Images and Online Gallery

Your digital gallery with all the edited images will be ready within a month of our completed session. I will send it to you via email along with a PIN to download your full gallery in high resolution straight away to your computer.

Printed Products and Books

I offer personal use rights over the photos along with the print rights to all of my clients. I do highly recommend, though, to order heirlooms through my galleries as I work with high quality printing labs that ensure your heirlooms will stand the test of time. Additionally, you are supporting a small business;).

Turnaround time for prints and products is based on the specific product you order. Once your final prints and products are in, I can either ship them to you or quickly stop by your house to leave them in your hands!

My Photography Style

TIMELESS | EMOTIVE | FINE ART

Documenting the joyful and loving emotions and organic connections between you and your loved ones is what draws me to fine art and candid photography. I want to illustrate the depth and intimacy that y'all share in a timeless style. I also try to let your personalities and relationship together guide the way that I photograph you. All couples and families are unique, and I want your photos to feel and look like you.

My photography process includes some traditionally posed photographs, but I don't concentrate solely on them. They are just a formality that I want to document. The real essence of my work lies in my ability to capture organic, ethereal moments.

When decades have passed, and you look back at your album, prints, and canvases I want every glance to revoke significant feelings and memories. I want you to have something far more precious than anything else, your love, and your memories. Preserved. Forever.
